Press First Banyan Tree residences in Middle East to come to Dubai in 2019

UAE-based developer Sweid & Sweid has partnered with Banyan Tree to deliver the Middle East’s first Banyan Tree Residences in the Middle East, a first-of-its kind 32-storey, 244-residence tower located in Dubai.

The development will be located on an island site where DMCC, the Montgomerie Golf Course, the Emirates Golf Couse and Emirates Hill on Dubai’s Al Helal Street, and will include one, two, three and four bedroom apartments as well as duplex apartments with private gardens and three full-floor penthouses featuring cantilevered swimming pools.

The 110,000-square foot Banyan Tree Residences, Hillside Dubai will also include a spa, saunas, a squash court, a 31-metre resort-style swimming pool, a children’s pool, and a poolside café.

Interior finishes include a 3.2m high ceilings, Grohe fixtures and Villeroy and Boch sanitary ware, with custom kitchens featuring quartz and Zebrano wood detailing and Siemens and Smeg stainless steel appliances.

Sales are expected to begin the Q1 2018, and the project is scheduled for completion in Q3 2019. Construction began at the beginning of 2017.

“This is our first entry into the emerging branded residence space in the Middle East,” said Ho Kwon Ping, Executive Chairman of Banyan Tree Holdings.

“Our offering is truly unique in that we are giving our end users the experience of a luxury retreat that they would expect from our hotels and resorts, however, there is no end to the holiday. This will be their home.”

Maher Sweid, Managing Partner of Sweid & Sweid, said that construction began far ahead of the sales launch to “give assurance to buyers about the timely delivery of the project.”
