Sweid & Sweid America (SSA) announces its latest venture, River Park 10, marking the company’s foray into the industrial real estate sector and its first project in the bustling Atlanta, Georgia market – one of the strongest performing and most logistically crucial industrial markets in the country. River Park 10 will be the first industrial development for SSA.
With expected delivery in August 2024, River Park 10 will be a Class-A logistics warehouse within the River Park E-Commerce Center, a purpose-built industrial park that is located on interstate I-75 that connects the Port of Savannah (3rd largest and fastest growing in the U.S.) to Atlanta. The strategic positioning of the River Park 10 site offers logistics firms unparalleled advantages. Its one-day round trip drive to the Port of Savannah and a two-day drive to reach 80% of the U.S. population make it an ideal choice for companies seeking efficient distribution and bulk-breaking capabilities.
Commenting on the project announcement for SSA, Managing Partner Maher Sweid said: “The development River Park 10 signifies a pivotal step for SSA as we enter a new market, asset class and add a new partner, one we have known for nearly a decade, to our portfolio. We are excited about the opportunity to perform well, with an aim to deliver in not only a strong market with solid underlying fundamentals, but also during a supply void in the market, as other projects struggle to launch due to disruptions in capital markets.”
Upon completion, River Park 10 will stand as an impressive 825,000 square foot facility occupying a sprawling 55 acre site, offering cross-dock configuration and 40 foot ceiling clear heights. Neighbors in the River Park E-Commerce Center include Procter & Gamble, who are in the final stages of completing their 2,000,000 square foot single building distribution center that will serve the entire South East of the U.S., as well as an electric vehicle parts distributor, which is strategically positioned to cater to the growing electric vehicle manufacturing plants of Hyundai, Kia & Rivian.
