We are delighted to announce the newest addition to the Sweid & Sweid family, Shahrzad Abukhamsin, who will be taking the helm as our Director of
Legal. With a wealth of experience and expertise, she is set to lead our legal, regulatory, and corporate governance affairs with professionalism and skill.
Shahrzad is a common law qualified lawyer with over fifteen years of in-house and private practice experience with a background in private equity, projects, banking, and finance. Prior to joining Sweid & Sweid, Shahrzad served as the Head of Legal for a financial services firm operating in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia, complemented by a Juris Doctor degree and a Bachelor of Civil Law degree from McGill University – Faculty of Law, and is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the Canadian province of Ontario.
